Not much, how about you?

Once again it has been quite awhile since I have checked in here. Lots has happened since we last spoke, but not much that seemed noteworthy.

Spring became summer and the usual scenario played out...busy season at work leaves no time for any projects, but when work slows down and there is lots of time, there is absolutely no spare cash to work with.

The 16SC got some use, although not strictly defined as "camping".  I was working a night shift, and we ended up with a job that called for some double-shifts.  We were finishing at about 2:30 AM, and had to often be on the other job site by 6.  I set the camper up at the shop and cut out the drive home in the middle of the night for a while.  The wife and I spent a couple Saturday nights there during that time also.  It made for a handy way to shake it down before we actually had the chance to take it out.

We didn't get a chance to actually camp out with it until Labor Day weekend, and took it to a favorite destination for the weekend.  It is about 2-1/2 hours drive time, and it towed quite well.   We were set up in a section of the campground that was a little crowded.  Even so it was a fun outing and we got to stretch its legs a little bit.  We set up the cabana awning and cooked outside.  It slept the two of us comfortably,  even though shuffling gear to set up the beds is a bit of a hassle.  That is just one of the points that will take some fine-tuning as we go.

Fall came along and made it look pretty in the yard, but no more chances would come up to take it out.  It has been put up in indoor storage for the winter now.
